Cameroon military kills nine separatists in the Northwest Region
Between Friday and Saturday, Cameroon forces killed nine separatist rebels and injured many others during clashes in war-torn Cameroon's English-speaking region of Northwest. Saturday's encounter took place when separatists attempted to attack a military outpost in the region. Soldiers repelled the assault, killing four of them. Last Wednesday, April 9, suspected Fano militia gunmen attacked a public transport vehicle in the Abe Dongoro district of the Horo Guduru Wollega zone, Oromia region, killing at least seven people. Riots break out in Athens
