RSF attacks displace 4,000 families in North Darfur
According to the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), approximately 3,960 families were displaced from various villages across the El Fasher locality in North Darfur between Saturday and Monday. The displacement was due to escalating attacks by the Rapid Support Forces in the region last Friday and Saturday. In total, nearly 4,000 families were forced to flee their villages west and south of El Fasher as a result of these attacks by the Rapid Support Forces. On Saturday, families were forcibly displaced from the villages of Shagra, Shagra South, and other nearby villages to locations within the El Fasher locality.
