Four Chinese Coast Guard ships enter Taiwan-controlled waters around Kinmen
Four Chinese Coast Guard ships entered Taiwan-controlled waters around Kinmen. The Chinese vessels entered the restricted waters at 7 a.m. from four different points to the east and southeast of Liaoluo Bay, the south of Zhaishan, and the south of Fengzui. Taiwan sent four Coast Guard Administration (CGA) ships to shadow the Chinese vessels and broadcast warnings. The Chinese ships left the restricted waters at 9 a.m. only to re-enter at 10 a.m. when the Taiwanese Coast Guard again dispatched four vessels in response. The Chinese vessels left Taiwan's waters between noon and 1 p.m. This event took place on 07/11/2024.

Ukraine seizes freighter linked to Russian grain smuggling
Ukraine has seized a freighter in the Black Sea near the Odesa region, claiming it was transporting stolen Ukrainian grain from Russian-occupied Crimea. The vessel, named Usko Mfu, had been working for Russia and repeatedly docked at the Crimean sea port of Sevastopol to pick up the "looted" products.
