Rocket barrage targets the Kiryat Shmona area
A barrage of 15 rockets was launched from Lebanon towards Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel. Some rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome system, while others hit open areas near the city. More projectiles were fired at the Mount Dov area on the border. The IDF responded by shelling the launch sites and conducting airstrikes on Hezbollah targets. Armed group kills 26 people in Mali
Last Sunday, gunmen attacked the village of Dembo in Bankass town, killing at least 26 people. Most of those killed were working their farmlands at the time of the attack. While no group claimed responsibility for the attack, blame quickly fell on Jama'at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) terrorist group that often targets villagers in the region in a similar manner. Serbia arrests three for espionage
Three engineers employed in a weapons factory in Serbia have been arrested on suspicion of spying for a foreign organization. The suspects, who are former or current engineers at the state-owned Krusik factory, are accused of taking confidential business-technical documentation without authorization and handing it over to the foreign organization. The police state that their actions have harmed the security, defense, military, and other interests of Serbia. Somali forces kill 135 al-Shabab terrorists, wound 80 others
On Tuesday, Somali forces killed at least 135 al-Shabab terrorists and wounded 80 others after the rebels attacked the villages of Buulo Haji, Harboole, and Biibi in the Lower Juba region. Troops captured weapons and ammunition, including rocket-propelled grenade launchers and machine guns, after the fighting. Bomb hits police in Pattani
Police in Pattani, Thailand, were targeted in a bomb attack while on patrol. The homemade bomb was planted at a bus stop and detonated as the patrol car passed by. Six officers were injured and taken to the hospital. The attack is believed to be in retaliation for the arrest of a suspected insurgency group leader.
