Grenade attacks reported in Burundi
The interior ministry reported that RED-Tabara insurgents threw a grenade at a crowded bus stop in Bujumbura, Burundi, injuring 38 people. Although the ministry stated there were no deaths, police sources and witnesses claim at least three people were killed. Maoist IED kills a civilian in Bijapur
A 25-year-old woman was killed by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. The woman, Shanti Punem, died while collecting tendu leaves near Mallur village. She stepped on the pressure IED, triggering the blast. This event took place on 05/11/2024.

12 Maoist terrorists killed in Bijapur district
On Friday, security forces kill at least 12 Maoist (Naxalite) terrorists during a clash in a forest near the village of Pidiya in the Bijapur district. Two security members were injured when the Maoists triggered an IED during the encounter. Security forces recovered a barrel grenade launcher (BGL), a 12-bore gun, a country-made rifle, BGL shells, a large cache of explosives, Maoist uniforms, bags, medicines, and Naxal publicity materials at the site of the clash. Security forces clash with terrorists in Poonch district
Security forces engaged in a brief clash with terrorists in the Sinai Top area of the Poonch district Friday evening during a search operation.
