Congolese army reportedly thwarts coup attempt
The Congolese army stated it thwarted a coup attempt early Sunday morning in Kinshasa. Bodies found at helicopter crash site in Iran
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, a potential successor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, died in a helicopter crash near the Azerbaijan border. Salamat and Bani Halba tribes clashed over the past week in the Mukjar locality of Central Darfur State. The situation escalated when both the Salamat and Bani Halba tribes mobilized heavily armed forces, prompting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) stationed around the Mukjar locality to intervene.
