German police arrested an Iraqi man accused of preparing to carry out attacks for the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group. The individual who arrived in Germany in 2022 was arrested Wednesday in Essilgen, near Stuttgart. He is accused of joining IS in Iraq in or before May 2016 and fighting for the extremist group.
