The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have expanded their ongoing counter-terrorism operation, Operation Iron Wall, to the Nablus area in the northern West Bank. The military has been carrying out a major offensive since January 21, focusing on the Jenin and Tulkarem areas. In recent operations, officers from the Gideonim unit and the IDF detained two wanted Palestinians, including Mohammed al-Bana, a senior member of the former Lion's Den terror group, who was involved in shooting and explosive attacks against troops.
