The Lebanese Foreign Ministry has told Iran's ambassador to Lebanon to refrain from interfering in the country's internal affairs, after he criticized efforts to disarm Iran-backed Hezbollah. The ambassador, Mojtaba Amani, had accused Lebanon of conspiring with the US to disarm Hezbollah, which has responded by saying it will not let anyone disarm it. Lebanon's Foreign Minister has reaffirmed the country's rejection of foreign interference and support for positive neutrality and mutual respect for sovereignty.
