On Tuesday, a suspected M23 mortar attack on a South African National Defence Force (SANDF) base in the DR Congo town of Sake killed two SANDF soldiers and wounded 20 others. The SANDF troops have been deployed in the DRC as part of a Southern African Development Community force helping the government fight terrorist groups.
