Pakistani security forces, supported by a helicopter gunship, seized key positions in the Peer Mela and Bagh Maidan areas of the Tirah valley. Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Lashkar-i-Islam, and Hafiz Gul Bahadar terrorist groups have established bases in the region. Drone strikes reportedly injured two people in the Peer Mela area. Furthermore, an elderly resident in the Donga area of Shalobar died of a gunshot wound. It was unknown who fired the shot that caused his death.
