Schools close early amid growing protests in Serbia

Serbia's government closed schools early for Christmas as teachers and students planned to join nationwide protests over a train station roof collapse that killed 15 people. The tragedy led to the resignation of the construction minister and sparked accusations of corruption and inadequate oversight. Protesters are demanding the resignation of the prime minister and the mayor of Novi Sad, as well as prosecution for those responsible.
