Several arrested in connection to the Mulhouse stabbing attack

A 37-year-old Algerian man on France's terror watchlist carried out a stabbing attack in Mulhouse, killing a 69-year-old Portuguese man and wounding several police officers. The suspect, who shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the attack, was arrested along with three others. President Macron labeled it an "Islamist terrorist act." The attacker had a history of mental health issues and had faced multiple failed deportation attempts, with Algeria refusing to accept him. The incident occurred near a busy market, and anti-terror prosecutors are investigating it as murder and attempted murder with terrorist connections.
