On Friday, the Somali Air Force, in coordination with the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), conducted six airstrikes in the Lower Shabelle region, killing 82 al-Shabaab terrorists and wounding 19. The airstrikes took place in the Sabiid and Canoole areas of the region. The airstrikes took place after Al-Shabab rebels attacked a Somali military base in the village of Sabiid.
