Teenagers detained in Singapore for terrorist activities

Singapore authorities have detained two teenagers under the Internal Security Act for planning extremist activities. A 17-year-old male was detained for wanting to attack mosques and kill at least 100 Muslims, inspired by far-right extremist ideology, while a 15-year-old female was issued a restriction order for planning to marry an ISIS fighter and potentially join the extremist group in Syria. These cases highlight concerns about youth radicalization in Singapore, with authorities warning of the need for public vigilance to prevent self-radicalization.
