Tens of thousands of people in Australia participated in protests against using January 26 as the national day. Most demonstrations were peaceful, but arrests were made in Adelaide, including a man displaying a Nazi symbol. "Invasion Day" rallies took place in multiple cities, celebrating Indigenous culture on a day of mourning for many First Nations people.
