Thousands continue protests in Georgia

Thousands of Georgians formed a human chain in central Tbilisi to support the country's EU membership. Mass street protests began on November 28 after the ruling party announced a delay in EU accession talks. The protests coincided with the controversial inauguration of the new president, who was declared "illegitimate" by the current leader and the pro-Western opposition.
