Three Afghan civilians killed during an exchange of gunfire between Taliban and Pakistani forces

On Monday, Pakistani and Afghan Taliban forces engaged in cross-border fire in the Ghorki area near the Torkham border crossing, resulting in the deaths of three Afghan civilians, including a woman and two children. Thousands of people living near the border in Pakistan fled the area during the clash. Afghan forces also destroyed two Pakistani border posts during the fighting.
